Why is prom so important?


I remember being in high school. I went to one with a graduating class of under 30 students, so I attended prom every year. Even with getting to attend 4 proms, it was still the event of the year. I looked forward to it, planned my dress, my makeup- the excitement is real! I imagine this excitement is multiplied by four for those students who only attend their senior year.


Prom is the night your child really gets to feel grown up. The ladies glam up, the men smarten up, everyone looks their best and dresses to impress. You, the parent, invest in their dresses and suits, makeup, haircuts, and tickets!

Prom is such an important event in your high schoolers life, especially in the day and age of social media. Investing in professional photography for their photos will give you and them both beautiful, printable, and postable images that last a lifetime. These moments only come once (or four times if you go to a tiny school), so it's worth it to have more than an iPhone shot!

Where should we take our prom photos?


The venue prom takes place is absolutely an option! Depending on your child's dinner plans, proms start time, location, and more, there are other options that may be more photogenic or easier. Loews Ventana Canyon is a venue prom takes place at, and often we will do your child's prom photos on site! We had another set that was at a downtown venue so we met at Barrio Viejo to take the photos in a more stylish location. We even had one couple who was especially adventurous and did a small hike before their prom, resulting in some gorgeous sunset photos in the desert. Getting the photos done on a different day is also an option!

What if a group of students all want photos together?


This is absolutely do-able and common! We make custom packages for various numbers of students and the cost can be split any way that is requested. Additional images can also always be purchased. We highly recommend doing it this way as it is the most fun for your child and the most cost effective for your wallet.
