Welcome to the most gorgeous wedding ever! Deep into the heart of Tuscany, this couple chose a villa in Bucine, Italy. Villa Olimpia captured the heart of Italy with ease. It was so easy to make magic here. The weather was impeccable, although we did get a bit of rain just an hour before the ceremony. It cleared up to blue skies dotted with clouds and rays of sunshine.

The Beauty of Small Weddings


Destination weddings often create small weddings. Weddings like this create intimate, beautiful environments where everyone can connect. Two families here came together for four days in Villa Olimpia and were able to bond in a way many families aren't. Four days of exploring the grounds, cooking and eating together, taking photos, playing games, and making memories that will turn out to be truly priceless- all to celebrate love.

Making Magic in Italy


Alex and Bella are high school sweethearts, travel buddies, and in the heart of Italy they tied the knot and tied their hearts together forever. These two are truly in love. I adventured with them in Rome before the wedding and up through Europe to Budapest after, they absolutely make the best partners and are absolutely in love. Bella has spectacular taste, every aesthetic of this wedding was exactly what I imagined the perfect Italian wedding to be. Her uncles brought Vespas, nothing more perfect to say "Just Married- in Italy!" than a photo op in their wedding clothes on a red Vespa. Even their venue choice of Villa Olimpia was a testament to their top tier taste. Together Alex and Bella created a magical getaway for their closest friends and family to gather and see them declare their love.

The Day Before

Frolicking With friends. Charcuterie Style Dinner. Dress Rehearsal.

The day before the wedding was also filled with memories, excitement in the air! Bella, her sister, and her cousin are the best of friends and it's so clear how much fun they have together. They also love to take photos and make tiktoks and videos. There's nothing I love like people who love photo time, so we had a blast with these photos. We had a blast taking photos together. Her two other friends also flew out for the wedding, that is dedication to friendship, and together we all made some pre-wedding memories- hey, even I'm in a few of these!


Before our quick dress rehearsal, I really do mean quick, it was 10 minutes or less, Villa Olimpia hosted a charcuterie style dinner for the family and friends staying at the villa. We sat outside under the string lights and everyone served themselves from the trays prepared fresh in their on site industrial kitchen. Italian meats and cheeses and pizza covered the tables and everyone filled up quickly.

Sweet & Simple Ceremony


Alex and Bella had a short, traditional ceremony. My husband was their officiant, which made everything even more special. I always recommend that if you can have someone close to you officiate your wedding, it absolutely will not be something you regret. They wrote their own vows and exchanged them in a heartfelt moment. After their big kiss and the announcement of the new Mr and Mrs, they posed at the end of the aisle for a fabulous shot with the people who flew from the states to see this special moment!

Cocktail Hour


Aperol Spritz was all the rage in Italy, especially Rome, so of course they were whipping those up for the guests. Just another way the Villa really immersed everyone in the culture of Italy and gave us the full experience. It was beautiful to see the families mingle and bond, visiting those they haven't seen in a long time. Love and destination weddings really do have a way of uniting people. I was blessed to capture that magic and immortalize those memories!
